The Brief:
Kevin is an old friend of my father’s. He reached out to me via email requesting a logo design for his website kevingoodwinphotography.com. The website is a showcase of some of his photos. Kevin didn’t want anything ‘flashy’ or ‘corporate’ but wanted something at least ‘semi-professional’ looking, as he was considering selling some of his photography at a later date. Kevin’s main areas of photography are landscapes and architecture.
The Solution:
I spent some time researching online and looking for inspiration. Once I had some initial ideas, I used Adobe Illustrator to bring them to life. I share the designs with Kevin, and we discussed what he liked. I then developed one logo design into a final design, and supplied Kevin with the files he requested (JPEG and PNG). The final design can be seen below, as well as some of the initial concepts.
