The Brief:
Back in 2016, I was contacted on People Per Hour by Ben Austen. Ben wanted someone to help Thuasne with a product catalogue design for the UK market. I was grateful to receive the opportunity to work with Thuasne, so I jumped at the chance. Ben and I arranged to meet for a coffee to discuss the project. We met, and things went well and I was offered the work. There was no initial budget, but a timeframe of up to 4 weeks. This was my first time meeting a client for coffee, and Thuasne offered to pay for my coffee and travel expenses. Overall, it was a great experience.
The Solution:
Thuasne required the existing French product catalogue to be overhaled with new images, products and text for the UK market. Ben supplied all of the content, and I used Adobe InDesign to create the UK product brochure. The final file was a print-ready PDF. The brochure was a success, and I was contacted again by Thuasne for regular design work. More can be seen in my portfolio.
